"I was born and raised in SK and started my career by teaching in northern SK before pursuing a career with the MFRC in 2009 as the Child & Youth Coordinator. I love to be involved with my community as a volunteer, a coach and a participant. I am looking forward to implementing high quality programming for our CAF and VFP families"!
"I have been with the Centre since 2012 and have 27 years of experience working in the early learning and childcare sector. Of those 27 years, 16 plus years have been in a management positions I take great pride in knowing that the CSMFRC Childcare Centre and all the staff is one that strives for excellence and quality early childhood programming, while promoting a cooperative spirit".
"I began working for the CSMFRC in January of 2007and over the 16 years of employment with the organization I started out in administration, moved into the PDCI coordinator role and later added financial responsibilities of budget management, payroll, day to day bookkeeping when I gained certification in small business bookkeeping.
With supportive leadership from the Executive Director, I was able to hone my skills as a 2IC learning Management aspects of the organization, working with our Federal funders, Provincial support network and our Board of Directors. Having the opportunity to work with and support CAF members & their families through transition truly has been the highlights of my career, however being able to continue in a role that is behind the scenes as a Financial Manager when we transitioned back to BC to be support family meant so much when asked if I could continue to assist the organization in aspects of financial management transition = success.
My goal within the CSMFRC team is to assist in navigating the future of the organization, via managing and assisting in the financial strategic goals as the overall services evolve to better meet the demands of those who serve and their families, along with supporting the Management & the Team with the years of service and knowledge working for the CSMFRC. Success is built as a team and this team is dedicated to that"!!
"I'm Megan Boufford and I am your Child & Youth Program Coordinator. Also within my portfolio I manage Education, Volunteering, and am a part of the Family Violence Advisory Team. I recently moved to Saskatchewan but spent the last 5 years working with adults with intellectual disabilities. I got my Degree in Developmental Psychology and Women & Gender Studies. When I'm not spending time with my family, I'll be hanging out with my puppy or have my nose buried in a book! I was led to the CSMFRC because of family and the hearing consistently about the programming! My goal while working here is to develop and nurture bonds with families to provide them with a personalized program that best suits each family".
"My name is Angelina and I am a Veteran spouse myself as well as a mother to two. My family and I moved to SK 3 years ago to be closer to family. During my families' time transitioning from military life to veteran/civilian life we had a lot of wonderful people that helped navigate the process. I was thrilled to become a part of the team at CSMFRC in the role of VFP as I would like to give back the help that was given to myself and family. I also thrive on wanting to help improve/create programs based on the Veterans and their families feedback".
"I was interested in becoming a part of the CSMFRC team as my employment background has been in Human Resources, Accounting & Business Administration so I felt what I had to offer would be beneficial here. Another asset that I thrive on for this position was the fact that I could use my personal experience for reference when assisting families through the Relocation & Integration process of their military life as I, myself, am a military spouse & also a mom of two with a few postings already in our 10 years in this life. Outside of work, my family and I enjoy camping, live music, travelling and spending time with our doggos"!
"I have been a military spouse for 15 years, and have experienced the ins and outs of the military lifestyle. My background has been working in developmental social work for 15 plus years, providing support to people with disabilities, ABI's and mental health. I decided to join the team at the CSMFRC because I felt my prior work experience and also being a spouse would be great assets to help other families navigate through the ever changing military lifestyle.I am a true people person and will strive to provide quality support to military families in need. Outside of my professional career I am a mom of two, a dog lover and enjoy the outdoors. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!"
