MFRC Youth Programs in Esquimalt

The MFRC is committed to supporting youth and family wellness. Staff at the centre work with youth between the ages of 12-19 years old who are experiencing mental health, social, and emotional challenges. The Esquimalt MFRC provides a variety of services for youth and their families including:

  • Individual counselling
  • Family counselling
  • Groups and workshops
  • Support navigating mental health systems
  • Referrals
  • Resources

Additionally, the MFRC works with local community partners to provide opportunities for youth and families. These include:

  • Presentations/workshops: FamilySmart ‘In the know’ presentations offered monthly to parents, providing information on various topics pertaining to youth mental health
  • Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities with the MFRC and other local organizations
