CFB Suffield MFRC Bursary Award

The CFB Suffield Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is proud to offer a $1,000 bursary to support the educational aspirations of a deserving military or veteran-dependent student. This bursary aims to provide financial assistance to help recipients achieve their post-secondary goals.  

Eligibility Criteria:  
- Applicants must be a dependent of a military member (posted to CFB Suffield or BATUS) or local veteran, with proof of status listed on the MPRR.  
- Must provide a letter of acceptance from a Canadian accredited post-secondary educational institution.  
- Must submit a personal letter detailing how the bursary will support their educational goals.  

Application Process:

• Applications must be submitted electronically to suffieldmfrc.board@gmail.com by July 30, 2025.  
• Applications will be reviewed by September 30, 2025, and the recipient will be announced on October 1, 2025.  
• Upon submission of a tuition receipt, payment will be issued directly to the recipient.  

Important Notes:  

• The recipient must agree to participate in a photo opportunity and promotional materials for MFRC advertising and social media.  
• The MFRC Board of Directors, staff, and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
