Basic Fitness Training Assistant 

A course specifically designed for OUTCAN personnel is scheduled annually to qualify CAF personnel to lead effective physical training classes and assist detachment personnel train for the FORCE Evaluation.
The course consists of approximately twelve hours of DLN course work and four days of practical course work. The DLN material is delivered the month prior to the practical work. The practical work takes place in a location outside of Canada. The course limit is five personnel.

FITNESS KITS AVAILABLE FOR LOAN

A limited number of fitness kits are available for loan to OUTCAN personnel who do not have access to a fitness facility at their location. The kit includes a TRX FORCE suspension trainer including door mount, a skipping rope,10 agility cones and a Bodyweight Training System booklet. Personnel may contact the PSP OUTCAN Coordinator to request a FitKit at Cirka.Todd@cfmws.com

FITNESS AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT

Fitness and sports equipment for embassy/consulate mini-gyms can be requested by completing an application for reimbursement of OUTCAN fitness equipment and sending it to the PSP OUTCAN Coordinator via email at Cirka.Todd@cfmws.com

Locations which lack mini-gyms may apply to MFSS for fitness facility fee reimbursement using the Application Form Reimbursement of Gym Fees and consulting the SOPs.
