Family Care Plan (FCP)

Before you are deployed it is important for you to fill out your Family Care Plan (FCP). You can learn more in the DAOD 5044-1, Families. A FCP is a mandatory Department of National Defence form that prepares families of Canadian Armed Forces members to be taken care of in case of unforeseen events, emergency callouts and planned deployment. By identifying primary and secondary caregivers who should be contacted in the event of an emergency or military tasking, your Family Care Plan supports your family in your absence.
