MBBR focuses on a holistic approach to tactical health, integrating:

Each element plays a vital role in mission effectiveness, personal performance, and long-term health.

30 April: “Physical Activity and Movement”

Online only

Description: This briefing highlights how daily movement, sedentary behaviour, and sleep influence health, readiness, and performance in the Canadian Armed Forces. Participants will explore how physical activity, screen time, and sleep interact across a 24-hour day, and how small, practical adjustments can improve energy, recovery, and focus. The session reinforces a whole-day approach to supporting sustained performance and long-term well-being.

May 5: Physical Activity and Mental Health

Online Event

 

Description:  Physical activity is a powerful tool for building mental resilience and enhancing overall well-being—both critical components of operational effectiveness in the Canadian Armed Forces. This presentation will explore the strong connection between movement and mental health, highlighting how regular physical activity can reduce stress, improve mood, enhance cognitive function, and support recovery. Participants will gain practical strategies for integrating movement into their daily routines, regardless of fitness level or schedule. 

Through education and evidence-based guidance, this session promotes a proactive approach to mental health, reinforcing the foundation of a strong, focused, and battle-ready force.

May 20: Women’s Health 

Hybrid event (Online or in person)

Description:  This presentation provides an overview of key women’s health topics including contraception, STI prevention, cancer screening, fertility, pregnancy care, menopause, and mental health. Participants will learn about available resources and services through CF Health Services to empower members with practical knowledge and resources to prioritize their wellbeing and operational readiness.
