Session 1
So you want to quit. Let's take things one step at a time. We know most people want to quit yesterday, but it's important to do the legwork. Let's get started.
Session 2
How do smoking/chewing/vaping and quitting link? What's the relationship? What might you need to think about when you are considering giving something up that you might have been doing for a long time? How are you thinking about quitting? Have you thought about different smoking cessation options? These are the questions we will be tackling in this session.
Session 3
Why do you smoke, chew or vape? Is it for stress relief, boredom, structuring your day, making sure you get breaks? Whatever the reason you are going to need some alternatives to replace the habit that you are trying to kick. In this session we break that process down.
Session 4
In this session we look at how support systems are an important part of helping you get and stay quit, and how it is also important to have some strategies in your back pocket that you can use in the short term as you get used to being quit, but that will help you out when those moments/situations/people (you know the ones) happen that test your resolve!
Session 5
Planning for High Risk Situations - you know the adage, better safe than sorry. Knowing what you are going to do before you find yourself in a tough situation is key to getting through that unscathed (and still quit). In this session we look at the benefits of planning ahead.
Session 6
You did it - you made it through the first 5 videos! This is the last one and we will be looking at how to keep the momentum going. What are you going to do if you have a slip? We'll talk about how to keep that slip from becoming a slippery slope so that when you are quit, you will be able to stay quit!
