Donations

Do you have gently used items you are looking to pass along? Register to donate to our Shop N’ Swap!

Registered participants can donate items such as clothes, toys, books, household goods, crafts or decor and turn them into someone else's great find at no cost! This activity is a great opportunity to declutter, reduce waste and help give your donated items a second life in a new home while making a difference in your community.

Space is limited. Register to donate before Noon on August 21!

Registered participants must drop off donated items at the MFRC on Friday, August 28 between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Open to: Adults (18+) of current-serving CAF, Veteran and Defence Community families, and Families of the Fallen

*Please be advised, participants who bring donated items to swap must ensure they are in good condition (clean, unbroken, etc.). Any broken, torn, stained or items otherwise unsuitable for reuse will not be accepted.

Come shop for FREE gently used, new-to-you items at our Shop N’ Swap as part of FALL FEST!

Bring the whole family to find hidden treasures, explore fun activities, enjoy good food, and connect with others. Discover unique finds such as clothing, books, toys, household items, crafts and decor —all donated and looking for a new home. This sustainable shopping experience will not only save you money but also help reduce waste by giving quality items a second life.

*Participants taking part in the Shop N’ Swap do so at their own risk. The MFRC does not provide donated items and is not responsible for the condition or quality of any donated items. All leftover or unclaimed items will be donated by the MFRC to a local charity.
