Makers Night is a monthly evening program that invites military families to come together through creativity. Each session features a guided project suitable for all skill levels.

The focus is on trying something new, meeting others, and connect with a craft. Whether you’re familiar with crafting or just curious, Makers Night offers a simple way to try something new.

You can bring your kids, our volunteer will watch a movie with them!

Registration is required.
All supplies are provided
Ages 10 and up.

About the facilitator: Marlene Joudry (Ravenz Quillz) is a self‑taught Mi’kmaw artist and cultural educator from L’sɨtkuk (Bear River First Nation). She creates traditional and contemporary porcupine quill jewelry, including her signature “grandmothers – Mi’kiju” pendant and earrings. She learned leatherwork from Genevieve Julian of Millbrook and deepened her quillwork practice under Janey Julian of Paqtnkek. Through workshops, Marlene teaches sustainable harvesting, quill care, and birch bark gathering, adapting each session to her learners
