Ignite Volunteerism! - A Volunteer Appreciation Cruise

In celebration of National Volunteer Week 2026 and International Volunteer Year, KMFRC and PSP Kingston are proud to honour the volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to our military community.

Join us for a special evening aboard The Island Queen as we cruise along the beautiful Kingston waterfront.

Event Details

Date: April 23, 2026
Time: 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Boarding begins at 6:00 p.m.
Location: The Island Queen, docked at Crawford Wharf (1 Brock Street)

Enjoy a two-hour private charter featuring food, refreshments, and great company as we recognize the impact of volunteerism in our community.

Eligibility

This event is open to KMFRC and PSP Kingston volunteers who have contributed their time between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

Guest Information

Each registered volunteer is welcome to bring one guest.

Volunteers under 18 may bring a parent, guardian, or friend of their choice.
Volunteers aged 18 and over may invite one guest of their choice.

All guests must be registered in advance.

Accessibility

The first deck of the vessel is fully accessible and includes washroom facilities and the cantina. Please note that upper decks are not accessible.

Parking

Suggested parking locations include:
• Hanson Memorial Parking Garage
• Ontario/Brock Municipal Lot (next to Waterfront Gifts & Apparel)

Please allow extra time for parking and boarding.

Beverage Information

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase onboard for guests 19+ with valid government-issued identification.

Registration Information

Registration will open no later than March 16, 2026.

Space is limited. We encourage volunteers to follow KMFRC and PSP Kingston on social media for the official registration announcement and event updates.
