Inclusion (1:1) supports (physical, behavioural, etc.):

At PSP, we recognize the importance of inclusion and strive to make all our recreation programs accessible to everyone. However, there may be weeks when staff may not be able to accommodate 1:1 support.

If your child requires 1:1 or additional support, Parents/Guardians are required to reach out to Camp Supervisor, Vickie Persad, persad.victoria@cfmws.com PRIOR to registering to inquire if there are support services available for your preferred week(s).

Clear communication is essential to ensuring we can provide the best possible support and foster an inclusive environment for everyone.

There will be an inclusion support process to provide additional information/forms regarding your child’s needs to determine a support plan while in our programs. The purpose of the Inclusion Support Process is to better identify needs and to determine specialized support when it is indicated or requested.

**Parents/Guardians who do not inquire prior to registering, cannot assume support will be available, and may have their registration canceled due to the unavailability of services**

On a case-by-case basis, families may provide a support worker at their expense. In the event that a parent/guardian is providing their own support worker, the parent and guardian must notify the Camp Supervisor and must review and sign External Support Person Guideline Policy.

The safety of campers and staff is our top priority and therefore it is important to acknowledge that there are limitations within PSP locations, as well as limitations to the level of support our Recreation Inclusion Support Facilitators can provide.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work hard to ensure our programs are inclusive and accessible.
