This year, the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) will be returning to offer The Kids’ Deployment Support Group (KDSG) in local schools.
Four sessions will be held throughout the school year (October, December, February, April) for children from JK to Grade 6. Each session is designed to help children understand their feelings, the changes, and possible stressors that come with the military family lifestyle (work-related absences, relocations, transitions, etc.). Participating students will learn positive living skills and age-appropriate stress management strategies in a safe and comfortable environment.
Registration Instructions
To register, please download the 3 PDF forms below and submit the completed forms to FamilyNavigator@PetawawaMFRC.com. If you wish to have a paper copy of the forms, reach out to us either by email or phone and we will bring them to your child(ren)'s school. Registration closes September 30, 2025.
