Understanding the Medical Release Journey: A Family Information Session for Spouses & Partners

people at a community meeting

Spouses, partners and family members are welcome to attend with or without the CAF member or Veteran in their family.

  • 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • South Side Community Centre

A medical release is a significant time of change for CAF members and their families. While it can open the door to new opportunities and next chapters, it can also feel confusing, overwhelming, and at times isolating, for the spouses, partners, and family members supporting a loved one through this process.

Families are often left wondering what comes next and what supports are available along the way. Knowing what to expect and where to turn for support can make all the difference.

Join the Veteran Family Program (VFP) on March 25 from 6:00–7:30 PM for an evening of information sharing and connection for spouses, partners, family members, and other supporters of CAF members experiencing a medical release, as well as medically released Veteran families. Spouses, partners and family members are welcome to attend with or without the CAF member or Veteran in their family. Refreshments will be provided.
