Operation Reconnect

When a loved one returns from deployment, families face a new chapter filled with joy, adjustment, and rediscovery.

Operation Reconnect programs help families find their groove again through laughter, teamwork, and shared experiences that remind them of the strength they carry together.

PSP Petawawa Community Recreation is offering four family events filled with energy, creativity and fun for everyone.

Registration for all Operation Reconnect programs will open on 29 December 2025 for preferred members and on 30 December 2025 for all other community members.

Glow Step Class - 16 Jan

Join us for a Family Glow-in-the-Dark Step Fitness Class! Deck yourself out in glow paint and glow sticks before enjoying a fun-filled hour with energizing workouts under vibrant neon lights, with music that will keep you moving!

Sportsfest Mini Carnival - 25 Jan

 It is time for big fun in a mini package! Try your luck at Ring Toss, Balloon Pop or at the Duck Pond. Get creative at the Craft Corner and make a cool carnival mask, or style your parents with temporary tattoos. Join us for an action-packed afternoon that is sure to bring the whole family together with laughs, smiles and memories.

Hip-Hop & Jazz Fusion - 6 Feb

Let us help you and your family find your rhythm again. Take part in our Hip-Hop and Jazz Fusion dance class to try out different types of dance and work up an appetite for a sweet treat!

Messy Brunch - 1 Mar

Messy Brunch is all about creativity, connection, and a little bit of chaos! Parents and children will team up to prepare a delicious brunch while making memories that last far beyond the meal. No need to be a master chef, just bring your appetite and your sense of adventure.
