Looking for connection while living outside Canada?
I Can OUTCAN is a welcoming, virtual support group designed for civilian CAF spouses navigating life on an OUTCAN posting.

Facilitated by Andrea Liss, a registered social worker with CFMWS OUTCAN, this weekly group offers a safe and supportive space to connect with others who understand the unique realities of living abroad.

Participants are invited to share experiences, ask questions, and explore topics that matter to them—whether it’s adjusting to a new culture, maintaining relationships across distance, navigating career transitions, or supporting loved ones back in Canada.

There’s no set agenda—just meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and the chance to give and receive support in a community that “gets it.”

Global/Rest of World, USA, and European OUTCAN spouses are encouraged to join.

Why join?

  • Connect with others who share the OUTCAN experience
  • Talk openly about challenges and wins
  • Build community—no matter where you’re posted

Wherever you’re posted—Global/Rest of World, the United States, or Europe—OUTCAN spouses are warmly encouraged to join.
