Letters to Santa, a Canadian Tradition
For many Canadians, sending a letter to Santa is a cherished holiday tradition. And while our holiday traditions may change while living OUTCAN, we want to help recreate the wonder of this beloved Canadian tradition, helping children stay connected to the holiday customs they know and love from home.
CFMWS has created templates for your children to write their letters to Santa, sharing their holiday wishes, accomplishments, and seasonal greetings. These letters can be mailed to your host country's Letter to Santa program or to Santa in your home! Your host country may have a guaranteed response program (please check cut-off dates); however, we have included a Letter from Santa template for parents to fill in and self-mail to their children for those without programs, without guaranteed responses or if they want to receive a response in English or French.
It's a simple but meaningful way to celebrate Canadian traditions, spark imagination, and create lasting family memories, no matter how far from home you may be.
