Keeping Warm with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is a community-driven winter clothing initiative supporting military members, veterans, and their families throughout the colder months. Thanks to the generosity of our military community, warm winter clothing will be collected and provided free of charge to those who need it.

Whether you have winter clothing to donate or are looking for warm essentials for yourself or your family, we invite you to join us in the spirit of kindness, support, and community. Together, we can help ensure everyone in our military community stays warm this winter.

Donate Winter Clothing

Donation Period: November 16 to December 4, 2026, from 8:00 to 16:00.

Donations of clean, gently used winter clothing can be dropped off at the following locations

Uplands Military Community Centre (UMCC), 330 Croil Private, Gloucester
Carling Campus, Building 5 (outside Health Promotion), 60 Moodie Drive
CANEX (near Starbucks), Carling Campus

Winter jackets and coats
Snow pants
Hats and toques
Scarves
Gloves and mittens
Balaclavas and face coverings
Warm socks and wool socks
Warm pants
Sweaters
Hoodies

Donation Guidelines

To help ensure all items are ready for their next home:

Items must be freshly cleaned.
Items must be in good condition, free from stains, tears, excessive wear, or damage.
Only the items listed above will be accepted.

Every donation makes a meaningful difference for another member of our military community. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming and compassionate community where neighbours support neighbours.

Community Clothing Giveaway

All donated items will be available free of charge to members of the military community.
