On Your Own but Not Alone
If the CAF member in your life is deployed or away from home for a work-related absence, we recognize that you may be living with extra stress and added burdens. So, let’s check-in with each other and share support.
Military spouses/partners can join Military Family Service’s National Capital Region (MFS-NCR's) Mental Health Team and Deployment Support Program Team once monthly for an hour of conversation and the opportunity to connect. Each session will focus on a theme related to the realities of deployment; the pits and peaks of life that happen when a loved one is away. Most sessions are virtual, with a few hybrid options available - giving you the flexibility to join in the way that works best for you.
Details:
- Sessions are offered one Tuesday a month from October 2025 to July 2026; 10 sessions total
- Sessions run from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST
