PSP Petawawa June Is Rec Month

Get ready for a full month of fun, movement, and community with PSP Recreation! From outdoor adventures and creative workshops to sports, social events, and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Whether you’re trying something new or jumping back into a favourite hobby, June is the perfect time to get active, connect with others, and make the most of the season.

June is Recreation Month Family Kick-Off Event

Join PSP Petawawa Community Recreation for our June is Recreation Month celebration! From inflatables, a hobby farm and face painting. we will have something for everyone. Indulge in our free BBQ provided by Petawawa CANEX Supermart and stick around to find out about what our local recreation clubs and community partners have to offer! Can’t wait to see you there!

  • GREAT PETAWAWA FAMILY QUEST - 31 MAY to 15 JUNE

    The Great Petawawa Family Quest is on! Grab your crew and set out on a self‑guided scavenger hunt that takes your family across Petawawa as you search for cool local landmarks, hidden gems, and fun surprises along the way. It’s the perfect excuse to explore, laugh, and make memories together!

    Families can pick up their official scavenger card at the JRM Kick‑Off Event on 31 May, or anytime after that date at the South Side Community Centre or the Recreation Complex. Prefer to play digitally? A downloadable scavenger card will also be available right here on the website!

    Once you’ve completed your quest, return your scavenger card by June 15 to either the South Side Community Centre or the Recreation Complex to be entered for a chance to win an awesome prize!

  • KIDZ 1ST GAME NIGHT - 24 JUNE

    Kids can enjoy a night out with laughter, games, and connection in a safe and welcoming environment. From classic board games with friendly competition, this event is all about unplugging, playing together, and making memories the old‑school way!

  • ADULT BOARD GAME NIGHT - 24 JUNE
    Looking for a fun way to unwind and connect? Join us for Board Game Night, an 18+ event where you can play classic favorites in a relaxed, social atmosphere with chill vibes and good laughs. Whether you’re feeling competitive or just in it for the fun, there’s a seat at the table for everyone.

  • YOUTH SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING - 28 JUNE

    Take your game to the next level! Our Youth Sports Performance Training class is designed for athletes ages 13 to 17 who want to build strength, speed, agility, endurance, coordination and confidence across a variety of sports. 

    No matter your experience level, our supportive environment encourages growth, teamwork, and fun. Train hard, sharpen your skills, and unlock your full potential!
