Camp Maple Leaf

Camp Maple Leaf, a 6-day, 5-night overnight camp, is dedicated to children of military families, whether currently serving or retired. These camps foster a sense of community and pride in their roles as members of CAF and veteran families. Camp Maple Leaf is designed as a unique program dedicated to children who share a specific life challenge. 

The Calgary MFRC provides a camp subsidy for children and youth aged 7 to 17 from Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, and nearby communities to this Camp Maple Leaf!

CAF children and youth will: 

• Have an opportunity to connect with peers from other parts of the country
• Enhance their sense of community
• Learn/try something new that they can't do at home
• Experience nature and have fun
• Reduce their level of stress and anxiety
