Gagetown's Fittest Soldier and Unit Competition 2025

Fittest Soldier:

The competition made history with WO Courtney Burns of 4ESR claiming 1st place, becoming the first woman ever to win the title. Her exceptional performance set a new standard, with Maj Gabriel Beauchamp (CTC Tac Sch) making us all hold out breath as he placed and incredible close 2nd. MCpl Marc MacDougall (4ESR) taking the hard-earned 3rd place spot.

All incredibly talented athletes with extraordinary fitness levels.

Fittest Unit:

The competition also broke new ground, as the all-women team from 4ESR comprising WO Courtney Burns, Capt Mikaela Hitchen, Cpl Sarah Duncan and MCpl Tristen Duernholz secured 1st place. 4 Reg team was right on their heels placing 2nd. The team included Maj Genevieve Lachance, Capt Mason Lloyd, Gnr Xavier Jack and Gnr Philippe Tranchemontage. In 3rd place with an incredible effort was CFSME Holdfast comprised of Avr Nathan Trent, Avr Papa Amadou Sene, Pte Sandrine Lavoie, and 2Lt Pallavedeep Singh.

These remarkable achievements showcase the strength, resilience, and leadership each of these athletes possess. Congratulations to all who participated! it was a tough one. See you next year!
