Celebrating the People Who Strengthen Our Community

  • 1000 - 1130
  • Fort Frontenac Officers Mess - 317 Ontario St, Kingston, ON K7K 2X7

The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) and Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Kingston invite our volunteers to a special morning of appreciation and connection.

December 5 also marks International Volunteer Day, a day recognized around the world to celebrate the contributions of volunteers and the positive impact they make in their communities.

As 2026 comes to a close, we want to take this meaningful opportunity to recognize the people who have shared their time, talents and energy with our military community.

Join us at the Fort Frontenac Officers’ Mess for a relaxed morning dedicated to celebrating your contributions and the difference you make.

Enjoy a lovely mid-morning buffet featuring assorted baked pastries, seasonal fruit and refreshments, and take part in simple activities designed to bring people together. Connect with fellow volunteers, share stories and experiences, visit our gratitude wall to read messages of appreciation, and take a moment to reflect on the impact volunteers have made across our military community.

There will also be opportunities to capture the morning with a group photo and enjoy a few thoughtful touches from the KMFRC and PSP Kingston teams as we say a heartfelt thank you for everything you contribute.
