Open to military personnel (active and retired) and their families, as well as civilian Defence employees (Public Service and Non-Public Funds) and their families, members of recreational clubs, and PSP cardholders.

PROGRAM FOR JANUARY 24, 2026 – SAINT‑JEAN GARRISON

Alpine skiing with specialists 

Come and enjoy alpine skiing with two specialized instructors.
We provide all the equipment and cover the cost of the lift ticket.

This is a special invitation for beginners or anyone who has never skied before.

Participants must use equipment from the Sports & Outdoor Boutique.

Come and challenge Garry Kolodner, the 11-year-old provincial champion and winner of Section A at the Guy Samson Memorial 2025!
He will play against 8 players simultaneously.

Also, join us for friendly chess matches with other enthusiasts, or simply discover the game with our specialists.

Form your teams of 3 players, with at least one female player. Each team must also include a goalie.

We provide all player and goalie equipment.

In friendly 10-minute matches, we’ll play in the street—just like the good old days!

Snow golf tournament 

Come and test your golfing skills on a 6-hole snow course. Will you be able to make a hole-in-one?

Children will be able to make their own shield and then battle on snow mounds to capture the other team’s treasure.

Skating 

Come skate at Ronald Beauregard Municipal Park, near the Royal Military College.
The city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu has about a hundred pairs of skates that we can lend you free of charge.

Overnight in a snow shelter (“Coucher en quinze”)

Experience building your own snow shelter and spending the night under the guidance of outdoor specialists!
We provide all the necessary equipment: sleeping mat, winter sleeping bag, headlamp, etc.
Plus, we’ll supply snacks and breakfast.

Song night with the band Les Jacks

Come and celebrate with popular French‑Canadian and Quebec songs, along with English folk tunes!
The evening’s entertainment will be bilingual. You’ll find it hard not to sing along, clap your hands, and tap your feet.

Guaranteed fun with the PSP Band and the trio Les Jacks.

Although the evening is free, a bar will be available, and drinks will be at participants’ expense.

PROGRAM FOR JANUARY 25, 2026 – CENTRE DE PLEIN AIR L'ESTACADE
For all activities, participants must make their own way to the Centre de plein air l’Estacade (St‑Paul‑de‑l’Île‑aux‑Noix).
