This year’s contest will have three winners:

1. ONE winner from the Military Operations category and ONE winner from the Military Community Life category will each receive 2 vouchers for WestJet airfare tickets, valid for trips anywhere in Canada.
2. ONE winner from the Cultural Connections category will receive $1000 in CANEX gift cards.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 photos for each category.  The maximum number of photos that can be submitted by a participant is 9 (if they submit 3 photos to the 3 categories).

All winners will be announced in January 2026.

Photos do not need to be taken before or after a specific date.

Yes, photos taken using a mobile phone are eligible.  Please ensure they meet the size and quality requirements of the contest.

The photographer must fill out the entry form and submit the photo.  All photos must be taken by the photographer who submits them.

You must resize your photo before submitting it.  There are a variety of options available online that will resize the file for you, but first ensure that the site you choose is safe for you to use.

Before uploading your photo(s) to our submission page, ensure they have a title that represents the image.  Ex. ColdMorningintheArctic.jpeg.  When you upload your photo, you should see the title in the entry box.  Photos without titles will not be eligible for judging.

We do not provide access to the photo submissions.  The winning photos and certain photos from each category may be posted after the judging process is complete.
