Volunteer Opportunities

Being a volunteer with CFMWS not only provides you with unique opportunities to support the Canadian Armed forces community; volunteering with CFMWS in turn supports you, by becoming part of our family of caring, kind, likeminded individuals. We volunteer to give back, to connect to a new community, to gain new skills, meet new people, and above all, we volunteer to make an impact on the community we have chosen freely to support. 

At CFMWS, we understand that as volunteers, you are choosing to give generously of your time, knowledge and skills to support our mission because you care deeply about contributing to “Serving Those Who Serve.” In return, we promise to honour your commitment by providing you with a safe, respectful, inclusive, and meaningful volunteer experience. 

Volunteering within the Yellowknife Community will always go a long way. Since the PSP team and the MFRC team are small but mighty, we do rely heavily on volunteer assistance to run events.
